moonar eclipse

kaely knows that it is called a lunar eclipse, but i think in her excitement to show it to me on wednesday night, she called it a "moonar" eclipse. i can't wait to tell her friends that story when she is in high school. :) lillian wanted nothing to do with it once she heard that the moon was going to be blood red... poor little girl :)

it certainly is not the best picture ever...but there is something rather neato about it, i think.

Lakeshore is too fun!

After our visit to the library, we went to the Lakeshore Learning store to some arts and craps. This week, the girls made special boxes for the Tooth Fairy. Elise was especially excited, as she just lost her first tooth. She said "Ooooh! I'm gonna put eyes on my treasure box so I can see what the Tooth Fairy looks like!"

They have so much fun! They can use as much of whatever is out on the table and they can be as creative as they like (there is no "staying in the lines" sort of rule). And it's stress free for me because I don't have to worry about the mess :)

First weekend of March is a big Dr. Seuss party. Woot! We are quite excited about that :)

We went to McAlister's Deli for dinner. As the girls were sitting down at the table, they were talking about our order number. Lilli pointed out that there was a "2" and Elise added "And a 6...that's 26". Then Kaely said, "That's how old Aunt Squishy is!" Lillian said "Yay! We got Aunt Squishy's number!" So, I grabbed the phone and sent a picture to Anne :) She loved it!
